Terms of Service

JobTailored is a web application that rewrites your resume for a specific job listing, scores the result, and generates cover letters. It is operated by Yiriba LLC. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

2. Your account

• You sign up with an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• Give us an email address you can receive mail at. Password resets are sent there and there is no other way to recover an account.
• One person per account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service.

3. Plans and payment

All prices are in US dollars. The plans, and the allowances the app enforces, are:

• Free: $0. 3 tailored resumes and 1 AI cover letter, as a lifetime allowance rather than a monthly one. No card required.
• Job-Search Pass: $39, paid once, for 90 days of access from the day of purchase. 100 tailored resumes and 50 AI cover letters across those 90 days. The Pass is not a subscription: it does not renew, nothing is charged again, and there is nothing to cancel. When it expires the account returns to the Free allowance.
• Pro: $29 per month, or $228 per year (which the site shows as $19 per month). 60 tailored resumes and 30 AI cover letters per calendar month, resetting on the 1st (UTC). Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

Each time you tailor your resume to a job, that is one tailored resume. Each cover letter generation, including regenerating one for the same job, counts one cover letter. Deleting a tailored resume does not give the allowance back. When an allowance is used up the app tells you and offers an upgrade; a paid plan resets on its next period.

Payments are processed by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. We never see or store your card number. A promotion code, where one exists, is entered on that page. Pro can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal linked on your membership page; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you have already paid for ends. There is no self-serve refund in the app. If you believe you have been charged in error, write to support@yiriba.com with the email address on the account and we will look at the charge with you.

We may change prices or allowances for future purchases. A change never applies to a Pass you have already bought, and a Pro price change takes effect only from your next renewal after we tell you.

4. Your content

Your resume is yours. So are the job descriptions you paste, and the tailored resumes, exports and cover letters the service produces from them. You give us permission to store and process that content only as far as is needed to run the service for you, which includes sending it to the AI provider described in the Privacy Policy to generate the output you asked for. We do not sell it and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload another person's resume without their permission.

5. What the AI output is, and is not

• Tailored resumes and cover letters are generated by a large language model working from what you gave it. The system is instructed never to invent experience, employers, dates, degrees, titles or metrics that are not in your source resume, and the scorer caps a resume that repeats keywords without substance. Instructions are not guarantees: read every document before you send it, and correct anything that is not true. You are responsible for what you submit to an employer.
• The match score measures how this site's own scorer reads your resume against a job description. It is not a prediction of how any particular employer or applicant tracking system will treat it.
• Nothing on the site is career, legal or financial advice, and no plan promises interviews, offers or any hiring outcome.

6. Acceptable use

• When you paste a job link, our server fetches that page on your behalf to read the listing. Use that for job listings you intend to apply to, not as a general-purpose crawler.
• The free tools on the site are rate-limited per visitor. Do not script against them, resell them, or route other people's traffic through them.
• Do not try to get around a plan allowance, share an account, probe the service for weaknesses, or interfere with other people's use of it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. You can stop using the service at any time; see the Privacy Policy for how to delete what you have stored.

7. The service

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the paid service while you hold an unexpired Pass or an active Pro period, we will tell you by email first.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Yiriba LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, income or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $39 if you paid nothing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to us first will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page moves. A change that affects a paid plan is announced by email to the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
